Years 7 to 9 Finacial Literacy

The Financial Literacy programme, proceeding through the Banqer Primary/Banqer High online curriculum, aims to provide students with experience in real-world financial skills. Progressing from Year 7 to Year 9, the aim is for students to gain a solid foundation of financial understanding, to enable them to succeed financially in the future. Topics covered include, but are not limited to:

• Income and expenses 

• Banking 

• Careers and employment 

• Lending and debt 

• Interest on savings and investments 

• Personal loans and credit scores.

• Kiwisaver and Taxation 

• Transport and Property
