AS Level Spanish

Prerequisites: IGCSE Spanish

Huanui College’s AS Level Spanish Language course is for students looking to elevate their IGCSE Spanish skills and take their knowledge of this language a step further. 

This course focuses on enhancing students’ proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing through engaging, real-world content. Students will develop a deeper understanding of complex grammar structures and vocabulary while building their ability to express ideas clearly and effectively. 

The course also emphasises cultural awareness, exploring the diverse Spanish-speaking world and its influence on language use. In this course, students will gain the confidence and skills necessary to navigate both academic and everyday situations with more fluency in Spanish.

Through the exploration of the set topics, students enhance their ability to express opinions, present arguments for and against, summarise, adapt, present, and discuss provided materials.
