A2 Level Music

Prerequisites: A minimum of a C grade in AS Music is recommended, or entry at the discretion of the Curriculum Leader.

Students select from the following areas:

Performing: A recital of 6 to 10 minutes, externally assessed, plus research report. 

Composing: An extended composition of 6 to 8 minutes, externally assessed, plus research report. 

Investigating Music: An independent research project on a chosen topic, resulting in a written report of approximately 2,500 to 3,000 words.
